Home to Pittsburgh for Christmas!!

First Things First!!  When you come home for Christmas
the first thing is get the Christmas Tree up in the Family Room!

and get the manger scene out because THIS is Christmas!

The Penn Hills Police Department Train Show is also
Christmas in Penn Hills.

But this is the last year for this gift that the Police
have always given our community…

and a gift to all my grand kids, year after year.
Great to be with the boys!
Then off to Indiana to see three more of our little ones!
Christmas eve with a couple more special ones…
and mom and dad, too!
Church at Hebron's family service, first.

Then on to Fox Chapel's Christmas Eve service.

Candle lighting on Christmas Eve is such a  beautiful tradition   and if it is snowing after the service --it is perfect!

Love this picture of these three after the
beautiful service. Henry's got a grip
on his Bro's!

And this is sweet too, of all of them…
Bruce wasn't with us because he was with
his Mom in Omaha.  He returned Christmas
morning..  but we celebrate with our families
the 26th… so we had a day to get ready.

Had dinner with this crew after church…

 Had a great Christmas morning
brunch with Michelle and Adam and family
and friends.  Guess I didn't take any pictures.
Bruce got back just in time to join in the fun.

I did take this to the brunch!
Then we rebuilt it for the 26th

all over again.

Then it was the 26th!  Time to cuddle in the family room.
Katherine showing mom and dad her gift from Barney.

We didn't know at the time but this would be Barney's last
Christmas with the family.

Barney had gone "shopping" for each one of the grand kids throughout the house and closets.  He found such
cute things!  We wrapped them up and each
of the kids received their very own stuffed animal
from Barney for Christmas.
Katherine got a little lamb.
 Oscar, a big bunny!

Henry,  an even bigger Santa Bear!

And each of the others got special bears, lambs and cuddly things
from our big cuddly Barney.
Can hardly look at these pictures….
I will miss my big cuddly boy so very much…
He was always softer than ANY stuffed animal!

Of course, there is always this little cuddle bunny!
These little faces are too much!  Is it fatigue,
waiting for their next present, wondering why the other person
got that gift and they didn't? Not sure…but sweet, for sure!
Bruce loved his framed family
reunion t-shirt!!   Thanks, Heather.

These three are growing up fast!

And they are all taking up a little more room at the table.

And so are we!!

It was such a wonderful day being all
together…. or is it altogether?

Either way.. it was so wonderful to be home and
with our family.

Love them all so much!

Love,
mom/gramma
