They Arrived!

It is Friday, June 29, 2012 

and tonight my sister-in-law 

Nelda and her daughters, 2 of my nieces, Kristi and Amy

arrive for a visit in Rwanda!

This will be their first international flight and trip 

so this is a big deal! 

Getting everything ready at the house..
Including a new table to eat outside on.

             The Carpenter came twice to get the table cut down to the right height.

But he finally got it!

Drove to the airport early to beat traffic and ran into Louise 

and Betty and Hope ...

and Bonita and Ed and their girls!  It was a busy night at the airport! 

Seems Kigali is about the size of Pittsburgh when it comes to 

running into people you know. 

Finally, time for them to arrive.... but where are they? 

 Here are 2 of them....Kristi and Amy!

Here are 3 of them... Nelda in the middle! 

(I don't know the 4th man... in the fire. Ha!)

They made it safely but someone surprised them in Brussels

and joined them for the rest of the trip.  

Here are 4 of them....Bruce was on his way home from
Montreal and he had the same return flight to Kigali!  So, he surprised
them at their seats on the plane by asking if he could take their pictures!
Kristi just screamed...  "UNCLE BRUCE?"

That was totally fun and it is so great to have them here now with us.


Home to cheese and crackers and green grapes
and lots of dialogue!
