Fun with the Family at Home at the Rodeo and at the Fair!

This was the party at the end of "shedding the shed"!
Time for a wiener roast around the fire.

Time to relax with the Kroghs and the Versaws!
Love this picture of Rob and Michelle.
It is even on my fridge here in Rwanda!

Then it was time to be with the Ashes!  Lots of family to
love and have fun with!!!  Miss them all today.

Erika and Bobby's cat, Mudslide….
being fed by Elizabeth and Brian. They love her!

Mudslide is definitely communicating with Brian!
The next day we constructed the "cardboard house" with the boxes from the new furnace!
It was a lot of fun.. That's Iris sticking her head out of the window.  See her little face?
The Cousins even had lunch in their new house!

Going to the Rodeo is always a hit, too!

Even Katherine loved watching all the animals.. but i couldn't take many pictures
and watch her on the bleachers at the same time!

Then came the county fair!  We were
packing in all the summer things to do!
Who knows what is going on in this picture!
But Katherine likes it!

But the scenery behind us was so beautiful…looking out over the rolling hills of PA!

OK.. this is my favorite picture of the day… Oscar and Katherine are loving this sweet pony!  I love their sweet little faces!!!!

And one of them is having fun on the rides!
Oscar was sure protecting his little cousin,
as (it appears)  he is singing a country ballad.

More dare devils!  Not exciting enough for Henry though..
He's takin' a nap!

Carnival land always looks the same, feels the same, smells the same and it even has the same music from years gone by.  Maybe that's why so many people love it.  Traditional summertime fun for everyone in the family!

For me…  today and all of the activities above are just
pure fun being with the grand kids and my big kids, too!

I love their excitement about life and all the
little joys… from cardboard houses to cotton candy!

love,
margie
