Thanksgiving and Easter?

 Can you tell it's a fruited turkey??

Well, I didn't realize this until last week…. 

but we had Thanksgiving with Chris and Lisa 

and a bunch of friends.  If you 

can't be with family… being with great friends is next best.  

Thanks again for the great fun, fellowship and food!

But then last Sunday was Easter and I was here in Kigali and 

Bruce was in the US.

And it was Chris and Lisa that asked me over first so I had Easter dinner.. (and a spectacular one) with them and their friends!

Thanks you guys. It was a lot of fun!

But earlier in the day… at church the youth did a skit… about a girl coming to  know Jesus and then being bombarded by all the things the devil tempted her with.  It was great… especially when  she found her way back to the Lord Jesus… He had His arms wide open all the time… but when she returned they danced and danced!
And that is what Easter is all about… Dancing with Joy
over the Resurrection of our Lord and Savior.  The one who came to save us and love us forever.  It was a wonderful service…
"no doubt" about it!  

And after the service two little girls were baptized to profess their faith in Jesus.  Heather's little daughter… 

and Evie… Rusty and Onawa's little girl! 

 Now both of these girls have 2 birthdays…
One earthly and one heavenly!

And it was a heavenly day!

And just imagine how much more
heavenly it will be some day!!

I trust you know the Lord…
That you know how much He loves you… 
He died for you and has
come back to life so that you and I can
have the gift of eternal life.
We can live with Him forever.

What a gift!
