The Other Krogh Family Comes to Kigali!!

After a longer than expected stay in America it was time to not just return to Kigali but to have Rob and Michelle's family along with me for the trip back and for their first visit to Rwanda.

Lois Ann, Michelle's Mom drives us to the airport..
Along with Michelle and Isaac and Iris!
Michelle took the picture!
Lots of luggage to send down the chute!!

There it all goes!
Wyatt and Henry pulling their weight and some of mine!
Ready to Roll!

Lunch and waiting to get on the plane!

and waiting…

and waiting!

But finally….Oscar on his first airplane ride ever…
all the way to Africa!  Mommy excited with him, too!

Anticipation mounts and Wyatt is ready to go….

Henry's 2nd big long airplane trip.. But this one is twice as long!  Daddy ready, too but first…

The boys have to not only check out the cockpit…
but have their logbooks written in, too!

Take off time for Detroit and then on to Amsterdam!

Landing early!

On this flight the pilots let the boys SIT in the cockpit.

Henry has his log book ready to get signed.

Wyatt's hat was just too big…  He kept lifting and it would fall… but sitting where the pilots would be flying
from was pretty big stuff.

Four in the middle…..ready to go

and one on the side… with a window seat!
The last leg to Kigali!

 It was a beautiful flight!
And then we finally got to the airport and Bruce and Innocent were there to meet us!

Bruce took the pictures…so he is missing here…
but the rest of us aren't looking too bad after a 25 hour flight!

Thankful for a safe trip and my return with good
health after having surgery just 3 weeks before for
uterine cancer.   These guys all "carried" all of
their weight and all of mine, too so that we could come back
and not miss their trip to Rwanda.   Oh, and by the way they
got all the cancer so no return trip for
treatment will be needed.   We are so blessed and give
all the praise to the Lord Jesus!

love,
margie

  1. The benefit of a classical education is that it allows you to despise the wealth it keeps you from achieving. The sensible method is to make the most of such internship opportunities by mastergrades.com, which are a really good means to acquire hands-on expertise in the type of job that you're interested in.
