Love My Family!

This blog got back-"blogged" but here it is now…
from when I was back in the States before Christmas!

The park near Heather and Colin's new place.

On the slide!   No coats!

Hangin' out on a fall day. ..
But the next morning… there was snow!

 Science experiments..
Snacks!
 and Smiles!!

Later that week… we met at Target…
and had a great day after Christmas pictures!

On to PPG Place
Checked out the Christmas Tree setting in the
middle of the ice skating rink.
and then went inside...PPG PLACE
to see the Santas from Around the World.

The girls looking at the ginger bread houses.  People and groups from all over the Pittsburgh area make them and bring
them to show them off for Christmas!

Here is an entree from a local church.

The American Santa Claus Picture...
and Brian here with him.

Of course… I picked up a brochure so I would
remember all the Santas but not sure where I put it.

 So since i can't remember, I'll guess..
pretty sure this is the African Santa!

And I believe this is the Father Christmas from Norway!

A ginger bread PNC Park-- Baseball Field

Look at all the ginger breads houses… or designed structures!

Mommy and daughter!   Maybe this is the Irish Santa???

The two little ones taking in the trains.

And speaking of trains… The Penn Hills Police Department
does an amazing train display every Christmas.
Rob and Michelle and the boys asked me to join them
one night and away we went.
LOTS of TRAINS!

and a huge layout!  Michelle and boys
starting around the entire display.

 Downtown!
Another church in another village.
Just a glimpse of 1/2 of the scenes.
Love the big rubber ducky that came to visit Pittsburgh this year-
even spotted here.
Rob and Oscar taking in all the trains.
There are so many little intricate things
to see behind each racing train.
Wyatt and Henry aren't missing anything either.

Lots of tracks and trains and people waiting at the station.
Once again this year… they out did themselves.  It was great watching the boys getting excited about every little thing.
But after we finished…. Henry and I
 finally had our long overdue
sleepover at gramma's house but first...

HOT CHOCOLATE AT EAT 'N PARK.
It sure put a happy face on Henry!!
(Uschi and Reiner…. check out Henry's shirt)
He loves it…. and thanks to you he has it…
all the way from Hamburg!
Had a great morning of worship with Rob and Michelle & boys
at Fox Chapel, too.
It's great to hear the worship team and especially...

"I Heard the Bells on Christmas Day"…

Peace on earth good will to men.

I wonder--

Can there be good will without peace?

love,
margie

ps…. You will be seeing the rest of the family
when they come to visit in Africa… but they didn't make
this "back-blogged"!
