Views from the Attic and the last days in Germany!

The view from my attic window!
A great place to stay, by the way.

The cool shower in the attic!!

Lots of cows next door!

The van ready to roll~

Wow.. a grocery store.
This reminds me of Kigali.

Uschi and I went for haircuts..and found
the sink in the middle of the room!  Clever.

We headed to Hamburg and stopped at this great place!
We sat down and shortly after we did…. the couple in the background walked in and sat down.
The man made us stop in our tracks…
I knew Bruce was in Hong Kong… or at least that is what I thought… but when
he walked in with this blonde lady it took my breath away!

Even the way he took his glasses off and on
and propped his chin up … with his thumb
we were sure it was him…He even has that shirt!
But when I went over to talk to him I discovered it
wasn't really him… WHEW!! ha!
When the kids showed this picture to the grand kids
they all said  "grampa"!!  Guess we all have a double.

Sights around Hamburg!

The store that sells the Nautical shirts!
We finally found it!
Bike lights about 4 feet up the pole.
Bikes everywhere!

Cool buildings

 People on the Street
But the best little person in Hamburg… Julius!
What a dear!!
All good things must come to an end.
 After all….everyday ends with a sunset…
but i wish this trip didn't have to end.
This trip has been wonderful and it is always
great to be with Uschi and Reiner.
Our time ended with them driving me again to
Hamburg to catch the plane to Kigali via Istanbul.

Hope to see you, Istanbul….
if it brings me closer to Uschi and Reiner.

Had to take a picture of these antiques.

There's one everywhere!

But there's only one Uschi and Reiner!

Thank you for a fabulous time together….
All the talks, the walks, the shopping, the times
with Sven and Kirsten and Julius, the boat ride,
the Dönners (mooooo) the coffeetrinkens,
and just plain being together.

Bruce, this was the best birthday present….
The only thing missing was you!

love to all,
margie
