The AIC International Food Fair Real Deal!

Ceren and I were in charge of the drinks and she couldn't get there early so I went at 8:00 a.m to meet the guys coming to move the crates of drinks and all the ice.  Most astonishing---they were right on time!  And from that time until 6 p.m. we didn't stop.  Welcome to the AIC International Food Fair!

Others just finishing off the drinks !?!

And with that being around 5 o'clock we started the cleanup...  it took the rest of the
afternoon.  Taking down all the tents, all the tables and chairs, etc.   We were exhausted..
but we would have to come back Monday morning to finish off the rest of the details.

Last Rounds of the Grounds to make sure everything
was as we found it.

So.. after all the planning, and set-up, running the fair, and
cleaning it up...we found out that it was all worth it.

For charity we raised over 7 million RWF's---that's
about $11,000.00 in 4 hours!

 Great job AIC volunteers,
and now we have the year ahead
 to choose which charities we
can support.  What great joy we can
share because of all the people who supported the
Food Fair.

Thanks for all of your support!

love,
margie
