The Rest of CMU Contingent Arrives!

After we spent time with the kids in the afternoon we had a small reception at our house in the evening for the rest of the crew that came from Pittsburgh--CMU.
We had a good time relaxing and eating and everyone just chilling before the meetings start the next day!
Crystal leading the way...

Romayne, Ed, Mark, and Jim from Pittsburgh
Mike & Michel from Rwanda

Garden parties are fun but a little on the low light
side of things...

Bruce finally in the picture!
My favorite shot... Mark, the provost of Carnegie Mellon University with Jim, the new dean of engineering...
Really think this should be hung in the CMU bookstore, don't you?
Eating and enjoying each other's company!
Under the porch roof...

and under the stars!

It was good for each of these folks
to "stop and smell the roses"
with all of their busy schedules.

It was fun to have them over
but everyone retired early since most of
them had just arrived today....or yesterday.

Jetlag is a funny thing unless you are the one with it!

I don't have any pictures of the Joint Advisory Board
or their meetings but apparently they went very well.
Everyone seemed to be please with the
way things are going... from the feedback Bruce received.

It is hard to believe that the whole first academic year
has come and gone and the new students for 2013-2014 begin arriving in less than 3 weeks.

  This year's students
will also be returning to start their second year...
The staff has done a great job and the students worked
very, very hard all year.

God has begun a good work here...
so I pray He blesses
it for the people of Rwanda and East Africa
and where ever else students will come from.

love,
margie
