Up early to enjoy the morning and the breakfast on our
last day here! I told the girls at the desk that
this place is....
"An Investment in Your Soul".
and it is!! |
The little road to our houses. |
The view before breakfast. |
Tea before Breakfast. |
Looking down to our house. |
Where we had our breakfast retreat! Check out the reflection of the hills in the window behind us. |
Tree tomato smoothie, yogurt, muffins, fruit and STRONG coffee!
And after this delightful morning... we drove away from the lodge. |
Stopped to see if there were any monkeys to see... but nothing... at least not in this spot.
But a few kilometers down the road we hit a gold mine of black and white Colobus monkeys! |
Having a tree tomato. |
This picture makes me miss Barney. |
Gotta grip on that orange. |
The Big Daddy! |
"What do you mean, no more oranges?" |
Look at those little fingers! |
"I want another cracker!" |
"Thank you!" |
"What will we do when they run out of food?" |
DANCING? |
YES, we were close to each other. |
Amazing how they looked at us! |
He had just taken the cracker out of my hand.
I wish I would have taken a still shot instead of just the video of the whole tree with all of the monkeys in it. This really was a wonderful moment in time for all of us. A great closing memory of our time in Nyungwe Forest.
And honestly... It was really fun just 'monkeying' around!
love, margie |
