RACE DAY and WYATT'S Birthday in the Hotel!

We got up early for breakfast 

and then the race began… 
The Family 5K Pittsburgh Pirates Race…. 
Heather and Joy were running… 

There they go!

But we --the 1K walkers started here-- Behind the Perogies, the Pirate Parrot and all the Chick-Fill-A Cows!

And away we go on a beautiful day!!!

First stop to see the cow princess…. Katherine loved her!

 Katherine loved being this close to this Perogie… I forget her name.  Is it Henrietta?  No… it is Jalapeno Hannah!!

By the time Katerine and i got back to the beginning everyone else was there because we took a wrong turn.  
Katherine sees mommy! And mommy sees Katherine!

Two very happy girls! 

But then…. the Eat n' Park Cookie!!!! 

Being comfortable on the street! 

This was a great end of the race… There were many vendors…. and lots of freebies for everyone!! 

Oscar took off after Sauerkraut Saul! 

Then there were the games….

But finally back to the hotel for Wyatt's hotel birthday party!!

 But first-- cartoons!!
They must have been really good, right?
Michelle and Rob's former neighbors came, too!
It was great to see them.

So, this was the beginning of Wyatt's celebration
for his actual birthday… April 20… the next day!

and what a great day it was….
