A couple of months ago Innocent had to stop at his Gramma's house for something.. and I got to meet here. She was
so sweet. I told her that some day i would be back to see her.
Today was the day!
Innocent's aunt on the left who lives with Gramma... She is Innocent's Dad's sister. |
Gramma and Auntie |
LOVE this picture! Innocent you must visit your gramma more often! Look at her eyes sparkling since her grandson came to visit... |
Before we shared some delicious groundnuts we needed to wash up... so Auntie provided the sink! |
This is Benita.. Innocent's niece and his Mom and Dad. I think grandpa loves that little girl! |
Another shot as folks are talking! |
Someone else loves her, too! My little car had a hard time on their street but we made it and headed to Via Vende for lunch... |
Looking at the menu... waiting for Bruce to arrive. |
Happy crew! |
Bruce got there right on time and we were altogether! It was a great day and we had much to talk about. |
PS. At this writing ( two weeks later) Innocent's Dad fell very ill last Sunday... He went into a coma and all of us feared he wouldn't live. He had seizures for 2-3 hours on Sunday before he went to the hospital.
He was on life support and wired to everything they have here.
But everyone was praying for him and many were fasting.
I saw him yesterday at the
hospital and he had been taken from ICU to a regular ward where he stood and greeted us with a hug. FOUR DAYS LATER....
A real miracle.
The following pictures are from yesterday.
Please continue to pray for his full recovery.
(The diagnosis was neurocysticercosis... which is the result of a pork tapeworm that attacked his brain.)
Obviously, the hospital! |
Innocent and his Dad... |
THANK YOU FOR YOUR PRAYERS!
And thank you, Lord for sparing his life
and giving Innocent the assurance of knowing
that his Dad has trusted his life
and surrended his will to you!
Blessed Assurance!
love,
margie
